[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide learning management system for a data management system for employee self-registration, comprehensive online course catalog, and tracking of instructor-led training, and online training to support and develop employee career paths to include compatibility with online content libraries.
- A comprehensive online course catalog (i.e. leadership, professional development, MS Office,
management, etc.). Possesses comprehensive reporting capabilities for data analytics and management decision making. The main objective is to develop online learning from the
Core Learning Path, Emerging Leader Learning Path, and Evolving Leader Learning Path
from course development. We also want to improve training compliance to ensure that all
City Employees have met all their training requirements.
- Supports 508 (ADA) compliance (Vietnamese, Spanish, Braille, large print, or audio component)
- Please provide the minimum hardware requirements for your proposed solution for both the hosting server(s) and clients.
- Please provide recommended server hardware requirements for 2500 concurrent users for your proposed solution.
- Please provide recommended hardware requirements for end-user workstations.
- Can mobile devices be utilized to access the system? Explain. If yes, please provide a listing of supported mobile operating systems.
- Please provide any requisite software which must be installed on end user workstations in support of your proposed solution.
- Please provide details of a hosted solution if available. Please include the data center specifications and which third parties, if any, are involved in the hosting of the application.
- Supports the City of Savannah Branding including the ability to automatically direct Users to the City Website.
- Supports integration of data (to/from) with other Talent Management modules
(e.g. onboarding, performance, recruiting).
- Supports importing data using various file formats (e.g., mass load process – Excel, text, etc. file formats).
- Supports loading course information into the LMS library/catalog, even if the course is not created in LMS (two-way integration).
- Ability to provide custom report creation without the need for specialized software.
- Includes industry leading security practices for direct login and single-sign-on (SSO), encryption of data, etc., and is secured using leading certifications and encryption (e.g., SSL, TLS).
- Supports mobile accessibility (e.g. smartphones, tablets), providing access to complete key processes (e.g., course registration, course completion) using mobile devices.
- Supports electronic acknowledgement/signature of learning documents (e.g., Adobe documents).
- Supports standard timeout and log off limits (e.g., after a specified period of inactivity), with the ability to adjust time periods.
- Ability to view all training records (including historical records) for active and terminated employees.
- The ability to allow non-City of Savannah student’s access to the LMS.
- Ability to conduct live video conferencing.
