Government authority located in Evans, Georgia; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for inmate medical services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide inmate medical services to the government authority located in Evans, GA.
- Arrange ancillary services such as laboratory, x-ray, optometry, dentistry and medical specialty referral services per the physician’s recommendation and approval of the Operations staff.
- Coordinate transportation of inmates with the Transportation section of CCDC and the off-site care provider will bill the County through an insurance program with Blue Cross/Blue Shield or as allowed by state law. Enrollment of inmates into the insurance system through a network connection will be accomplished by Jail Administrative personnel. Provider will not be responsible for the cost of off-site care and services.
- Medication administration, Medical confidentiality, Documentation, Head injury management, Critical Care management, General sick-call and follow-up, Management of inmate with seizure, HIV, Hepatitis, Tuberculosis, Random drug/alcohol screening, as needed, Blood draws for DUI and drugs, as needed, when on site, Medical management of inmates, including flu vaccine, clinic examinations with prescriptions when appropriate, preventative health care screening and chronic care clinics, Design and implementation of all medical forms for healthcare programs, Provide medical clearance for inmate workers at the request of CCDC staff, Provide appropriate mental health staff on site to manage mental health population.
- Management of the entire medical program
- Act as clinic nurse and assist the Physician during scheduled appointments
- Provide scheduling for other medical services as deemed necessary by the physician and/or jail administration
- Conduct inmate medical assessments as necessary
- Provide emergency medical services as needed
- Order prescriptions, and medical supplies as needed
- Coordination with pharmaceutical providers
- Be available 24 hours a day for consultation at the discretion of the on-duty shift supervisor
- Review medical records routinely to ensure compliance with applicable rules, standards and laws
- Conduct other duties as identified by the physician or jail administration
- Follows CCDC security regulations
(2) A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on October 30, 2019.
(3) All question must be submitted no later than November 13, 2019.
(4) Contract period will be for one year.

- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
