[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide geotechnical engineering consulting services for the proposed residential development to the government authority located in Cumming, GA.
- Site and Space Programming: Analyze space needs and workflow. Hold meetings with stake holders and identify the current workflow, functionality and determine additional needs. I identify the grow trends and influencers to determine space needs for at least 5 years of future growth. Provide a cost estimate for a fully operational complete project.
- Schematic Design: Conduct site fit testing and provide layout and floor plan options. Based on
programming data, workflow, functionality and future growth needs; provide site layout, preliminary floor plans, building elevation options, narratives for the critical project elements, materials and an updated cost estimate.
- Design Development: Present the final site and floor plan layouts to stake holders. A 3-dimensional
virtual presentation of the building space is encouraged. Coordinate essential details of the project with stake holders. Provide developed site plans, building floor plans and other essential project plans and details to stake holders to ensure the functions of the proposed facility are captured. Provide an isometric rendering of the site and a front elevation rendering of the building. will be included in the construction plans and used for a job site billboard. Provide an updated cost estimate.
- Construction Documents: Provide a comprehensive set of construction documents, drawings and
specifications as required for public bid solicitation and construction. The architect is responsible to
provide all plans and other documents required to obtain approval of all project permits. Furniture,
fixtures and equipment, low-voltage systems, interior design, signage, wayfinding, graphics, and
lightning protection (for critical infrastructure) are required to be included in the construction documents. The design of furniture, fixtures and equipment will include planning the layout and identifying specific make and model of all items available per state contract and/or compatible with county standards and existing systems. The design of low-voltage systems includes but not limited to phone, fax, network data, audio-visual, burglar alarm, fire alarm, video surveillance, access control and automated point of entry, intercom systems, and radio systems.
