[A] Budget: Looking For Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide bond and disclosure counsel services to the government authority located in Marietta, GA. Counsel may also be called upon to render any or all of the following services:
- Assist in preparation of the preliminary official statement, official statement and notice of sale.
- Assist in planning and structuring the county’s bond issues and in supervision of the procedures of issuance.
- Assist in preparation of proposed enabling legislation, if needed for financing.
- Obtain from governmental authorities such approvals, rulings, permissions and exemptions as bond counsel determines to be necessary or appropriate to the issue.
- Render opinions on questions related to the bonds, on applicability of federal and state laws, security agreements, eligibility for regulated investors and any other relevant issues.
- Assist in presenting information to bond ratings organizations and bond insurers, if necessary.
- Assist in any other necessary activities related to the bonds.
(2) All questions must be submitted in writing no later than October 30, 2018.
(3) A contract term will be for three years.
